What You’ll Do

  • Monitor chat & gameplay for rule violations; escalate when needed.
  • Resolve disputes, de-escalate conflicts, and route players to the right channels.
  • Log evidence (screens/video + timestamps), file reports, follow the escalation flow.
  • Handle tickets, basic appeals, and routine player questions.
  • Support events and help onboard new moderators.

  • Fast, fair responses with a consistent tone.
  • Evidence-first decisions; every action is documented.
  • Protect player experience while upholding policy.
  • Clear handoff to Admin on serious/edge cases.
Success = consistent enforcement + positive community vibe.

What We’re Looking For

  • Good judgement & strong communication (text/voice).
  • Fluent with GoPlay rules, mute/ban ladders, and appeal basics.
  • Comfort collecting/redacting evidence (screens/video, timestamps).
  • Reliability: you show up for your coverage windows.
  • Preferred: You can operate solo on shift; you plug into GoPlay workflows as a team member (not a “partner”).

Tools & Access

  • In-game moderation (mute/kick/tempban per policy).
  • Discord tools & staff channels (#staff-hq, #staff-logs).
  • Incident report form & escalation chart.
  • Evidence storage and ticketing board.

Serious cases (cheating, harassment, doxxing) escalate to Admin immediately.

Quick Start (First Week)

  • Join Discord → say hi in #staff-hq.
  • Server tour + Q&A with staff.
  • Check your role To-Do and claim a task if one appears.
  • Read the Mod Handbook & escalation chart.
  • Shadow a moderator once, then handle 3 tickets with a mentor.
  • Post a short EOD summary in #staff-logs (first week only).
Tip: Keep #staff-logs summaries concise — clarity & timestamps win.

Growth Path

  • Trial Moderator → evaluated on accuracy, tone, documentation.
  • Moderator → autonomous enforcement; consistent outcomes.
  • Senior Moderator → mentors others; handles complex reports.
Performance reviews every 30–60 days.

Review, Commands & Escalation

  • Use commands per ladder; document every action (with evidence + timestamps).
  • File an incident report for anything beyond a warning/mute.
  • Escalate immediately for threats, doxxing, hate speech, or cheater networks.
  • Appeals: collect context, remain neutral; pass to Admin if conflict of interest.
Turnaround Goals: Simple tickets 0–24h • Reports same-day • Escalations ASAP
