This guide provides an overview of the rules and expectations for behavior within our community. It explains the types of violations that fall under our Terms of Service (T.O.S.) and Privacy Policy (P.P.), outlines examples of unacceptable actions, and details how infractions are handled. By following this guide, you’ll understand how to contribute to a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment for everyone.
Terms of Service (T.O.S.) Violations
Rules under the Terms of Service cover behavior that disrupts the community or breaks the server’s rules across all platforms, including Discord, our Website and Minecraft.
Examples
• Spamming or flooding the chat, excessive swearing
• Advertising external servers, links, or services
• Harassment, hate speech, discrimination, or toxicity
• Using hacked clients, cheats, or macros
• Griefing, stealing, or sabotaging other players
• Ban or mute evasion via alt accounts, proxies, or VPNs
• Exploiting bugs, dupes, or server mechanics unfairly
• Targeting staff or provoking conflict
Privacy Policy (P.R.P.) Violations
Privacy violations involve misuse of personal or server data and may result in strict or immediate actions, including permanent bans or escalations.
Examples
• Doxxing or leaking personal info (IPs, names, locations)
• Sharing or tampering with private logs or data
• Mass-deleting messages or reactions to hide evidence
• Retaliating using logged messages or player history
• Hacking, DDoS, backdoor attempts, or probing services
• Impersonating GoPlay systems, bots, or staff
• Submitting false reports, takedown, or deletion requests
⚠️ Additional Infractions
These may span both T.O.S. and P.P. and include:
• Attempting to bypass automated systems
• Using GoPlay systems to promote unsafe behavior or other services
• Disrupting community events or support services
• Encouraging others to break rules or abuse systems
• Refusing to comply with staff directions or server policies
• Spreading misinformation about rules or staff actions
• Passive-aggressive or sarcastic signs/messages meant to provoke
• Manipulating filters or rule boundaries to skirt enforcement
• Recording users or private chats without warning (where applicable)
• Abusing tickets, appeals, or support tools to flood, troll, or harass
• Proxying misconduct through others (e.g., asking someone else to break a rule for you)
These guidelines are not limited to the examples provided. Violations are reviewed contextually based on behavior, history, and severity.
For a more detailed breakdown of how infractions are handled, including punishments and appeals, you can learn more about how infractions work here.
If you do not agree with an infraction, you may be eligible to appeal it here.
Here, you'll learn about the types of infractions, how our strike system works, if you’re able to get a punishment reversed and what to expect at each stage of the process.
Our strike system operates on a one-seven-strike policy to ensure fairness and accountability, tailored to the type of violation:
Terms of Service Violations (T.O.S.)
These include community and in-game rule breaches, such as inappropriate behavior, cheating, or exploiting.
Users are typically given up to three chances to correct their actions, with each strike escalating in severity. On each, punishments become more severe but may still be appealed under stricter review. Reaching the highest strike results in a permanent strike with no eligibility for appeal.
Privacy Policy Violations (P.R.P.)
These cover privacy concerns, such as data misuse, sharing personal information, or posing threats to the network's security.
Due to the seriousness of these offenses, appeals are often restricted or entirely disallowed.
Strikes escalate quickly, and penalties may result in immediate long-term consequences or permanent punishments.
This system is designed to strike your IP to ensure we maintain a safe, balanced, and respectful environment for all while offering opportunities for redemption in less critical situations.
The charts serve as general outlines. While they guide most actions, staff may adjust durations or take custom action on a case-by-case basis depending on context, history, or severity.
