The GoPlay marketplace is where you can access various resources like approved clients, custom content, and other server-related features.

To protect our players and community, GoPlay uses IP-based punishments — meaning bans apply to your entire connection, not just your account.

If you break the rules:

• 🚫 Your IP address is flagged, limiting or blocking access from any account or device on that network

• 🔁 Creating new accounts or switching devices won’t work

• ⚠️ Other users on the same network may also be affected

If someone on your network is punished (e.g. banned or muted) and you log in from the same connection, your account may also be flagged or restricted.

This is part of our system’s effort to prevent punishment evasion through alts or VPNs.

• You can still join and play, but some features (like chat or support) are restricted.

• Limitations are often due to rule violations, ongoing investigations, or network-related issues.

At the moment, GoPlay MC allows semi-support to Bedrock Edition players. Our primary focus is on enhancing the player experience on Java Edition. Our current custom framework is not compatible with native Bedrock clients, and it is unlikely that we will fully support Bedrock. We are dedicated to providing the best experience for Java players and will continue to revisit the idea in the future if the technology allows.

Yes! Only if you meet the requirements. If your network permanently blocks GoPlay and you have no reliable alternative, you may apply for trusted VPN access at goplaymc.net/myconnection. Approval is not guaranteed and is based on your connection type, history, and overall eligibility.

VPNs hide your real IP address, which makes it much harder for us to detect alternate accounts, punishments evasion, shared networks, or malicious behavior.

An SCL is a yearly license that allows approved users to connect to GoPlay using a VPN. It’s only available after submitting a valid application and must be renewed every 30 days with updated proof.
