GoPlayGoPlay started in May 2023 as a passion project between two friends who wanted to build the kind of Minecraft server for everyone to play on.
GoPlay is operated by @DontAskMeIt and @deadlyfoxx. Everything is developed and managed internally to keep the experience and your privacy consistent.

"GoPlay MC" is only a descriptive form to show it's a Minecraft server. The EULA allows this as long as it's clear we are not owned by Mojang or using Minecraft's branding as our own.
Some features are white labeled to match GoPlay's identity, not external tools and their actual branding.
GoPlayRoadmaps can lock features into timelines that change during testing. GoPlay avoids this to stay flexible and release updates when they're fully stable. Some features may be previewed once they're far enough along, but timing can still change based on testing and stability.
Minor fixes, optimizations and backend changes are released quietly when they don't impact gameplay directly. The website updates before the server so players can read what changed first. Only major changes are announced.
GoPlayEvery feature goes through testing so it stays stable long-term. Rushed updates break the experience. Hotfixes fix urgent problems fast. Features add new systems and need deeper testing to guarantee stability.
Features are removed when they become unstable, outdated or no longer fit GoPlay's identity. Some previewed ideas fail testing or don't fit GoPlay's stability or privacy standards. Nothing stayed shiped unless it meets GoPlay quality.

GoPlay needs to verify who you are on Minecraft and Discord. Without an account you can't use most of our services.
Your GoPlay Identity is your verified profile across the network. It links your Minecraft account, website account and support history so we always know who we're helping and can keep your data secure.
An Identity is required for appeals, applications and support submissions. Linking confirms ownership without exposing your data.
Without a linked identity, you may be ineligible for services.

Yes. 2FA adds a second layer of protection and prevents someone from accessing your account even if they know your password.
Yes. Audit trails help confirm identity and show if actions were intentional. Large or sudden region changes look like stolen accounts. GoPlay can then block these logins to confirm it's really you.
AccountsVPNs hide your real network identity and make it impossible to confirm who is actually joining. GoPlay blocks VPNs to prevent spoofing, protect accounts and keep the network safe.
GoPlay only accepts genuine Minecraft accounts. This keeps player identity secure, prevents impersonation and keeps the network safe.
GoPlay allows up to three active players per IP to keep identity checks accurate and prevent alt abuse. This still supports families and shared connections while keeping accounts safe and verifiable.
AccountsContact GoPlay Support immediately. We can temporarily restrict your GoPlay Identity to stop all access until ownership is re-verified. GoPlay checks login patterns, region changes and audit trails to confirm the compromise.
Appeals require verified ownership first. Staff must confirm the account is fully recovered before reviewing any punishments linked to the compromise.
If someone accessed your account, you are still responsible for its actions. Appeals should explain what happened and logs help staff understand the situation.
Identity resets could be abused by someone else who gained access to your account. Staff handle resets manually to keep your data secure.
AccountsAccount deletion can take up to 30 days. This waiting period prevents unauthorized removals, gives time to confirm the identity request and safely clears linked data from the network. This deletion only removes your website identity.
All terms and privacy policies are publicly listed at the bottom of the website. Not reading them doesn't remove responsibility. By playing you agree to follow them.
AccountsAppeals go through GoPlaymc.net/contact. Not Discord. Staff need to verify your identity and review logs. One submission every 14 days.
Nobody else can appeal on your behalf. Appeals must be submitted within 11 months of the punishment.

Making logs and evidence public exposes player data and creates drama. This stays private to protect everyone and keep moderation calm.
AppealsStaff compare your explanations to logs, patterns and timing. Consistency matters more than excuses. Honesty helps resolve things faster. Focus on your own actions, not others.
Screenshots can help explain your appeal, but they cannot override tamper-proof records.
Vague explanations, blame-shifting, aggressive tone and appeals submitted through Discord are commonly denied.
Logs contain private server data and internal information. Staff review them privately to protect systems and player information.
AppealsLower-level strikes may be appealed where staff can verify context and intent. Higher-level strikes, severe cases or repeat offenses cannot be appealed because they involve broken trust, safety risks or clear intent.

Permanent bans are used when trust is broken or safety is at risk. Some actions show clear intent even on a first offense. When the violation is severe the strike becomes permanent and cannot be appealed.
Ban lengths follow a set guideline to keep punishments fair for everyone. They aren't changed unless an appeal proves the punishment was incorrect.
AppealsGoPlay operates on a one-to-seven strike policy depending on the type of violation. Strikes are issued to your IP address and stay on record from 365 days up to lifetime depending on severity.
There are two violation types: Terms of Service (T.O.S.) covers community and in-game rule breaches. Privacy Policy (P.R.P.) covers data misuse, sharing personal information or threats to network security. Privacy violations carry stricter appeal restrictions.
The charts below are general guidelines. Staff may adjust durations or take case-by-case action depending on context, history or severity. Intent matters. Honest mistakes are treated differently from deliberate actions.

Strikes 1–3 stay on record for 365 days. Strikes 4 and above stay on your record.
High-Risk appeals are reviewed more thoroughly because the player's history shows a pattern or intent. Staff examine full audit logs and context before making a decision. These take longer and the standard for acceptance is higher.
InfractionsBefore you can apply for any role on GoPlay, you need a registered and verified GoPlay account. Your account confirms your identity and is required for your application.
You also need to have your Minecraft account linked to your GoPlay Identity. Without this, your application cannot be submitted.
Applications involve access to moderation tools and internal systems. GoPlay needs to confirm who you are before granting any level of access. Anonymous or unverified applications are not accepted.
If you don't have an account yet, register here and then link your Minecraft account with /verify in-game.
All applications are submitted through WithUs. This lets staff verify your identity easily, review your audit history and keep your application private.
Applications sent through Discord or any other channel are not accepted, regardless of how they are worded or who you contact.
Applications are reviewed within seven business days.

Staff can tell when someone is writing to impress rather than being genuine. Honest, measured responses show real fit far better than trying to sound impressive.
Low in-game activity may prevent proper review of your moderation history. Active punishments may disqualify you. Applications must be submitted through the website. Plagiarism or attempts to influence staff review will result in rejection.
Yes. Your account's moderation history, login patterns and past interactions are all reviewed as part of the process.

Applications cannot be appealed liked punishments are. If your application is rejected, focus on building your presence on the server and reapply when the time is right.
